Can I add new Groups from the Assignment Dashboard?

Yes, on the Event Assignments page, just above the Groups Grid there is a button called, "+ Add Group". This button will launch a dialog box that allows you to create a new group for that event. You will enter the Number, a Name and a Location (if applicable.) Click Update to save the new group to the list.
