Within the setup of an event under the Event Settings tab there are now two options for the setup of a recurring event. The first option, “Recurring Event, pick Registration for 1 or More Days” allows for the registrant to select on the event registration page which specific days that wish to register for. The second option “Recurring Event, 1 Registration Covers All Days” allows for you internally to select which days a specific level will occur. This second option is ideal for situations where you have classes or sessions that meet multiple days a week or month but the registrant only needs to register or purchase a single level to be registered for all the days.
Once the “Recurring Event, 1 Registration Covers All Days” toggle setting has been set to “Yes” you can save the page and move on to the next step in the setup. During the creation of your Event Levels you will see a additional tab at the top of the setup dialog window called, “Multi Day Attendance”. Clicking on this tab will allow you to establish which specific days this level will be attached too. On this tab you will see the following settings:
Enable Multi Day Attendance – When set to Yes, this will allow you to make your multi day selections.
Class Start Date – Enter or select the first day this level will occur on.
Class End Date – Enter or select the last date this level will occur on.
Days Available – Select which days of the week this level will occur on.
Start Time – Enter or select the recurring start time for this level.
End Time – Enter or select the recurring end time for this level.
Calendar – Fine tune which days this level will occur on by adding or removing dates. Ctrl + mouse click on a specific date will mark the date as selected. Selecting a date from a specific view without using the Ctrl key will deselect all previously selected dates.
Once you have completed the assignment of days to your levels you can save and finish out the event page setup. The end result of this setup will allow for a single registration by an event registrant to then create multiple attendance records based on your previous selects under the Multi Day Attendance setup.
