DonorView offers several options learn more about the software and its features. Please see the attached New User Guide with information about success strategies, FAQs, and Training Checklist with a list of the training videos and recommended support articles. You can take advantage of Initial Training, the Support Academy, do self-directed training using the Video Library and Support Articles, or take specialized training via zoom.
Initial Training
Initial training is usually delivered by your implementation manager during data conversion. It is a single session for your entire organization, delivered via zoom, to give a basic overview of the structure and functions of the software. It is generic information and not intended to be a how-to training to perform specific tasks. That training will be accomplished with the Support Academy or doing self-directed training as described below.
Support Academy
The Support Academy is a learning management system (LMS) that provides DonorView users with a formal learning plan to help you understand how to use the DonorView platform in the most efficient and effective way. It gives you, the learner, a structure to learn the basics and then build upon that learning to perform more advanced tasks in the software. You can progress at your own pace, completing lessons and courses on your own schedule.

Self-Directed Training
For those who prefer self-directed study, you will find access to the Support Site and Support Video library in the menu under your user initials. Attached you will also find the Training Checklist as an Excel spreadsheet for you to download and keep track of your training progress.
With self-directed training you can choose which videos to watch and in what order to watch them. We provide a recommendation in the training checklist, but the choice is yours.
Specialized Training Sessions
If you would like more personalized support, DonorView offers specialized training sessions. These sessions are 50 minutes long, delivered via zoom, and can be customized to cover the modules, topics, or questions you have about the software. You can invite as many team members are you like to join the session and sessions are recorded for you to download and share.
