When one of your constituents disputes a credit card charge made through one of your online forms or transactions you processed, you have the option to provide documentation demonstrating that the charge was valid to the credit card processor prior to the deadline given by the credit card processor. If the processor sides with the constituent, the constituent is refunded the amount of the charge and you (the customer) will be assessed a $50 charge back fee for each charge back lost, as well as the disputed amount of the transaction. If you are successful in demonstrating the validity of the charge or the constituent withdraws their dispute, you will not be charged any fee. The charge back fee is a fee assessed by the credit card processor, not DonorView.
