Does the online donation get recorded into DonorView automatically?
Updated Aug 3, 2026·1 min read
Yes, everything from the donation form will be automatically recorded into DonorView. A gift record will be created for that donation. The software will look for a matching constituent in the database using the email address and name. If the constituent does not exist yet, DonorView will create a new constituent using the information provided by the donor.
