# What is Company Type?

The **Company Type** field allows you to classify the type of business such banks, churches, schools, healthcare, etc. There is also a field for **Industry** for additional details about the kind of company.

**Company Type** is also available from the Quick Queries menu on the Constituents grid for reporting.
