The portal allows your constituent to update their personal information by clicking on their name in the top right corner of the portal. These features are available in both the Basic and Advanced portal. In this menu the links include:
- Update My Info
- Email Subscriptions
- Change Password
- Payment Options
For Update My Info, the constituent can update their name, address, email, phone number and any other fields you have designated in the Portal Info page.
For Email Subscriptions, the constituent can subscribe or unsubscribe to any or all email marketing communications.
Under Change Password, the constituent must enter their existing password in order to create a new password, which must be entered twice. There are currently no restrictions on the characters or length of the password.
And under Payment Options, the constituent can remove or add new credit cards to their account. Existing card numbers cannot be updated due to the encryption security. If your organization also utilizes the Gift Cards feature, the gift card numbers can be recovered here as well.
