A new User mode is now available for customer who wish to allow volunteers to clock in and out their Time Tracking using the mobile DV Connect app. The new mode is called Kiosk Mode and can be assigned to a specific user under the setup of your account users. Once assigned when this user logs into the DV Connect app only the Time Tracking Check In/Out screen will be visible.
To turn on the Kiosk mode for an existing or new user mouse over your organization’s name in the upper right corner of the software and mouse down to Users clicking on DonorView Users.
Once on the User page you can either click to edit and existing active user who appears on the grid or click the “+New” button to create a new users. With the “Edit User” dialog displayed look for the “Mobile App Kiosk User” setting with checkbox. Checking the box next to that title will activate the Kiosk Mode. Please note that activating this mode will not impact the users access when they log into the main software, it only impacts their Mobile App access.
If any time you wish to deactivate the Kiosk Mode simply go back in and “Edit” that user on the DonorView Users page and uncheck the box next to the “Mobile App Kiosk User” title and then click the blue “Update” button.
