Yes, using either the Simple or Advanced Donation pages, you can accept a pay later request. This type of donation will create a pledge within the constituent's record.
For one time contributions, the pledge will show the Amount of their donation, a Payment Frequency of “One Time” and a Due Date based on the internal setting that will be populated within the setup of your donation page. This type of donation will not require a credit card so there will be no payment method attached to the pledge record.
For recurring contributions set up as pay later, the pledge will show the total Amount of the pledge and the Frequency, Due Dates, and Due Amounts the constituent selected. This type of donation also does not require a credit card so there will be no payment method attached to the pledge record.
To setup the option for Pay Later donations, you will need to go into the setup of your Donation Form under the Workspace>Fundraising>Donation Pages menu.
For Simple Donation Pages, you can select the pay later options on the Donation Page Settings tab, under the Donation Options.
- When Allow One-Time Pay Later Donations is set to YES, this allows the selection of Pay Later for one time contributions. This will also require that you establish a Pay Later Due Date.
- When Allow Recurring Pay Later Donations is set to YES, if someone selects a recurring donation option, this can also be set up as a Pay Later option, meaning they intend to send in a check for each of their payments.
- There is also an option to make this internal only so it is not visible to the public. Set Allow Internal Only to Pay Later to YES for making the pay later selections visible to internal users only.
- You can customize the Pay Later Comment label as desired.
- Always click Save at the bottom of the page to save any changes you have made.

On the Advanced Page designer, you will locate the widget for the payments and edit the Settings > Payment Method section as described above.

If pay later has been made an option for the public, they will see a check mark above the payment method labeled with whatever information you inserted into the Pay Later Comment field. By default it says "I will Pay Later."
