Yes, a portal user can have 4 different statuses: 

  • Active - the account has been verified and is active.
  • Deleted - the account was marked as "Deleted" by a DonorView admin user. Marking them as deleted does not remove their portal account, but they are not able to log in.
  • Pending - the account was created, but the constituent did not complete verification by clicking the link on the email that was sent when the account was set up. The constituent will not be able to log in until their account has been verified or their status is updated.
  • Suspended - the account was marked as "Suspended" by a DonorView admin user. Marking them as deleted does not remove their portal account, but they are not able to log in. 


On the row of the user you would like to update, click on the blue word in the Status columnA new window will open allowing you to select the new status. Click Update to save the change or Cancel to return to the grid without changing the status.
