How do I add a Pledge?

There are multiple ways to create a new pledge.
1. From the main grids (Constituents, Gift, Interactions or Documents), you can highlight the constituent, click on the New button at the top of the grid and select Gift. Change the gift type from General to Pledge. You will see the pledge schedule along with other applicable fields. Enter the pledge information and click Save. If you do not want to save your changes, you can click Cancel.
2. From within a constituent record, you can click on their Gifts Tab. Click on the Add Gift button at the top. Change the gift type from General to Pledge. You will see the pledge schedule along with other applicable fields. Enter the pledge information and click Save. If you do not want to save your changes, you can click Cancel.
