# How do I place a new question before or after an existing question?

#### Check the box **Specify placement of question** when creating or editing a question to show where the question will appear. Select the button to choose whether you would like it to appear **Before** or **After** another question that has already been created. You can select that question from the dropdown list of **Existing Questions.**
